3、t, reliable, non line of sight reading and can work in harsh environments. It can be combined with computer, network, and communication technologies, and is considered to be one of the most development potential of the t
4、echnology in the 21st century. With the background of practical application of RFID technology, A 13.56MHz-based RFID reader is designed in this paper based on in-depth understanding of the basic principles of RFID techn
5、ology, structure, characteristics, and related theories. Some of the key Technology of RFID can be known deeply through designing this system. Basic concepts of RFID, Prospects, Works, Related theories, Key Technologies
6、are briefly introduced firstly in this paper. Basic composition and working principle of RFID are decrypted. This paper clarifies the working frequency of 13.56MHz, RFID system, the physical mechanism and Communication T
7、heory, and the ISO/IEC15693 agreement is briefly analyzed. Hardware and software of the system is designed on the basis of the theoretical analysis. Hardware designing mainly includes radio frequency identification modul
8、e circuit, micro-controller unit circuit, a serial communication circuit, antenna modules, and so on. Software design is mainly the designing of reader software, including TRF7960 configuration program, anti-collision al
9、gorithm program, CRC checking process, serial communication program and so on. Finally, the performance of reader performance is tested. Test results showed that: the reader supports ISO / IEC agreement perfect, achieve
10、the requirement of designing. The key features of the reader in this paper are mainly reflected in the physical layer software protocol and module power consumption. The ISO/IEC15693 standard physical layer protocol is i
11、mplemented by using MSP430F449, which is a 16-bit Ultra-Low-Power Microcontroller made by TI Company. Power consumption of the system is very low. In particular, procedures for anti-collision algorithm are improved. Effi
