2、,dating back about three thousand years of history. Ch'in is different from the generalinstruments, for it embodies the profound cultural connotation and elegant aesthetic taste.In the social life of literati, and th

3、e field of literature, historiography, philosophy, etc,Ch'in has more prominent human character and permeability than other traditionalclassical instruments.From the time of birth, Ch'in had been regarded as the

4、cultivation device, carrying theessence of Confucian statecraft. At Qin and Han Dynasties, the statecraft and publicityfunction of the Ch'in received unprecedented strengthening and attention. Since Wei andJin Dynast

5、ies, culture and art flourished, and Ch'in art got considerable development. Atthat time, a lot of literati performers sprung up, and they created prosperous Ch'in piecesand songs. In the field of Ch'in music

6、al form, Ch'in as performance instrument in thehands of actors, become an instrument of expressing personal feelings in the hands ofliterati. And Literati Ch'in gradually dominated. The literati Ch'in involve

7、d Taoism intoCh'in music, promoted a pure, micro, light, distant aesthetic standard. So Ch'in began toget free form Confucian Musical Education, returned to the state of nature and simplicity.At Wei, Jin and Nan-

8、Bei Dynasty, literati forged an inextricable interwoven withCh'in. They were difficult to abandon Ch'in, even regarded it as important as their lives.Thus, they created considerable literature related to the Ch&#

9、39;in, especially in the poetry.Thefusion of Ch'in and poetry radiated unique artistic charm. Ch'in enriches the content ofpoetry, deepen the refinement of poetry, poetry also enriched the cultural connotation an

10、dsymbolic significance of the Ch'in. So it can be said, whether in the Ch'in music andaesthetic theory, or in the creation practice of poetry which involved Ch’in, the literati atWei, Jin and Nan-Bei Dynasty, had

11、 made an achievement beyond the previous generation,and produced lasting influence to later generation’s Ch'in research and poetry creation.For that matter, the Ch'in poetry of Wei, Jin and Nan-Bei Dynasty, has t

12、he sense ofmilepost type construction to Chinese Ch'in culture and the classical literature.The research object of this paper is the Ch'in poetry of Wei, Jin and Nan-Bei Dynasty,including that poetry of chanting
