2、ant part in our society. Financial competitiveness is one of the most significant index to measure a country’s or a region’s finance power. In recent years, there are several discussions and issues about financial compet

3、itiveness, and researchers are focus on how to elevate it. In China, there is a problem that the development of Provincial Finance is unbalanced, and the gap is very huge between provinces. With this understanding, it is

4、 necessary to construct a new indicator system of provincial financial competitiveness and then to compare the advantages and disadvantages in different provinces. This paper is mainly to investigate the measures of pro

5、vincial financial competitiveness power in our country and aim at forming a proper system for it. Firstly, based on the theoretical research and empirical research, it put forward a new concept of provincial financial co

6、mpetitiveness, and chose some essential indicators to build a new system. Secondly, taking 27 provinces in China as example, and then applying the index system to evaluate the finance situation of them. This paper use th

7、e principal components analysis to measure the comprehensive index and four sub-level index such as banking competitiveness, so that we can use the combining two methods of the qualitative and quantitative analysis to ev

8、aluate provincial financial competitiveness. Thirdly, in order to seek more, we introduce economic growth factor to the provincial financial competitiveness analysis frame. The text uses a panel data model to measure the

9、 effect, which means how does economic growth depends on the provincial financial competitiveness. Finally, according to the financial development situation of China’s provinces, we make some policy implications and prov
