2、的歷史背景、國(guó)內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀和發(fā)展趨勢(shì))</p><p><b>  (一)背景及意義</b></p><p>  隨著全球化進(jìn)程的進(jìn)一步加劇,具有不同語(yǔ)言及文化背景的人們的接觸也日益增多??缥幕浑H已經(jīng)成為人們交際活動(dòng)中必不可少的重要組成部分。在跨文化交際過(guò)程中,人們往往只注重語(yǔ)言本身,而忽視了非言語(yǔ)行為,作為非言語(yǔ)行為的主要組成部分空間更少被提及。對(duì)不同文化背景下的

3、空間觀的忽視,在不了解這種差異的條件下會(huì)導(dǎo)致交際的失敗。因此對(duì)比中美不同文化背景下的空間觀差異來(lái)提高文化意識(shí),減少交際過(guò)程中的誤解,對(duì)達(dá)到成功交際目的來(lái)說(shuō)很有必要。</p><p><b> ?。ǘ┭芯楷F(xiàn)狀 </b></p><p>  美國(guó)著名人類學(xué)家霍爾提出:空間的變化會(huì)對(duì)交際發(fā)生影響,可以加強(qiáng)交際的效果,有時(shí)還會(huì)超過(guò)言語(yǔ)的作用。</p><

4、p>  1959年,霍爾出版《無(wú)聲的語(yǔ)言》,在“空間會(huì)說(shuō)話”這一章對(duì)空間概念和近體學(xué)的理論做了精辟的論述。 1963年 在《醫(yī)學(xué)和人類學(xué)中的人類形象》中首次詳細(xì)論述了人類的空間關(guān)系及個(gè)人領(lǐng)地要求。</p><p>  霍爾將空間分為三類:1.固定空間,即由固定的墻欄和物體構(gòu)成的空間,如房間。 2.半固定空間,即由桌椅板凳之類較大物體構(gòu)成的空間。3 非正式空間,即人們?cè)谂c他人交往中每個(gè)個(gè)體所習(xí)慣維護(hù)的個(gè)人空間

5、氣泡。</p><p>  1966年羅伯特安德烈發(fā)表了《領(lǐng)地要求》。書中討論了獸類、鳥類和魚類對(duì)領(lǐng)域的劃分和守衛(wèi)行為,指出人類與動(dòng)物一樣,也有一種強(qiáng)烈的領(lǐng)域要求感。</p><p>  縱觀空間觀的研究,已了解了空間觀上的一些差異,學(xué)者們也提出了自己的見解,但尚無(wú)完整的理論,以及對(duì)產(chǎn)生這些差異的原因和解決方法的完整探究。</p><p><b> ?。ㄈ?/p>

6、)發(fā)展趨勢(shì) </b></p><p>  中美空間觀差異是一個(gè)跨文化的學(xué)術(shù)命題,所以英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者應(yīng)該具備相應(yīng)的跨文化知識(shí),以開明寬容的態(tài)度和相對(duì)自由的立場(chǎng),來(lái)看待這種差異。中美空間觀有其相似點(diǎn),但更多的是不同,這是由于不同的歷史背景、文化傳統(tǒng)所造成的。而今后的發(fā)展趨勢(shì)將進(jìn)一步明確兩者的區(qū)別。當(dāng)然,每個(gè)文化都有其存在的理由和傳統(tǒng),不能盲目地肯定其一或一味地否定其一。英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者應(yīng)該弄清楚兩者的異同點(diǎn),從而明

12、、詳實(shí)的資料、各種論文及書刊……一切盡在掌握之中。</p><p>  2、到圖書館翻閱資料。 “書到用時(shí)方恨少”,要進(jìn)行研究,光憑手上的資料是不夠的。充分利用學(xué)校的圖書館,隨時(shí)都可查閱資料。</p><p><b>  3、看影視片段。</b></p><p><b>  (二)研究方法</b></p>&

13、lt;p>  1、分類法:分類討論不僅是數(shù)學(xué)思想,把不同的信息分類,有便于研究工作的順利進(jìn)行。經(jīng)過(guò)分類,中美文化的空間差異可以清晰的突現(xiàn)出來(lái),更具說(shuō)服力。</p><p>  2、提取法:紛繁復(fù)雜的原始資料,不經(jīng)提取,不免令人眼花繚亂。因此,需要將資料進(jìn)行整理和篩選,只有經(jīng)過(guò)擇優(yōu)錄取,才可提取到真正有用的信息。 </p><p>  3、對(duì)比法:對(duì)比中美空間觀差異,了解其相

21、een Chinese and Americans</p><p>  一、前言部分(說(shuō)明寫作的目的,介紹有關(guān)概念,扼要說(shuō)明有關(guān)主題爭(zhēng)論焦點(diǎn))</p><p>  隨著全球化進(jìn)程的進(jìn)一步加劇,具有不同語(yǔ)言及文化背景的人們的接觸也日益增多。跨文化交際已經(jīng)成為人們交際活動(dòng)中必不可少的重要組成部分。在跨文化交際過(guò)程中,人們往往只注重語(yǔ)言本身,而忽視了非言語(yǔ)行為,作為非言語(yǔ)行為的主要組成部分空間更

22、少被提及。對(duì)不同文化背景下的空間觀的忽視,在某種條件下會(huì)導(dǎo)致交際的失敗。因此對(duì)比中美不同文化背景下的空間觀來(lái)提高文化意識(shí),減少交際過(guò)程中的誤解,對(duì)達(dá)到成功交際目的來(lái)說(shuō)很有必要。</p><p>  空間觀包括正式空間觀和非正式空間觀。本文主要淺析中美非正式空間觀的差異。那么什么是非正式空間觀?霍爾1959年提出非正式空間觀概念:即人們?cè)谂c他人交往過(guò)程中每個(gè)個(gè)體所習(xí)慣維護(hù)的個(gè)人空間氣泡。</p>&l

23、t;p>  文章分為五個(gè)部分。第一部分文獻(xiàn)綜述,介紹一些空間觀的理論及定義,第二部分從對(duì)待擁擠的態(tài)度、領(lǐng)地觀念、空間與取向等方面來(lái)具體比較中美空間觀差異。第三部分淺析產(chǎn)生這些差異的原因,第四部分談到中西空間觀差異巨大,我們應(yīng)如何解決或應(yīng)注意哪些方面,第五部分對(duì)全文進(jìn)行一個(gè)總結(jié)。</p><p>  二、主題部分(闡明有關(guān)主題的歷史背景、現(xiàn)狀和發(fā)展方向,以及對(duì)這些問(wèn)題的評(píng)述)</p><p

24、><b> ?。ㄒ唬┍尘?lt;/b></p><p>  隨著全球化進(jìn)程的進(jìn)一步加劇,具有不同語(yǔ)言及文化背景的人們的接觸也日益增多??缥幕浑H已經(jīng)成為人們交際活動(dòng)中必不可少的重要組成部分。但在與西方人尤其是美國(guó)人交往中,常常會(huì)有許多問(wèn)題。如當(dāng)與美國(guó)人相處時(shí),如何保持一個(gè)合適的體距,如何不侵犯其隱私。這些都會(huì)引起誤解而使交流達(dá)不到預(yù)期目標(biāo)。那么我們應(yīng)該如何做來(lái)避免這些問(wèn)題呢?所以應(yīng)了解中美空

25、間觀上的一些差異。</p><p> ?。ǘ┭芯楷F(xiàn)狀和發(fā)展方向</p><p><b>  中國(guó)空間觀</b></p><p>  中國(guó)人口眾多,尤其在中國(guó)東部的沿海地區(qū),人口密度相當(dāng)高,城市生活擁擠,而且中國(guó)人思想中有群居和集體觀念,所以在對(duì)待擁擠這個(gè)態(tài)度上,中國(guó)人有更強(qiáng)的忍受力。關(guān)于中國(guó)人談話時(shí)的體距,尚無(wú)成熟的研究結(jié)果,但總體上中國(guó)人比

26、英美人近。在領(lǐng)地觀念這個(gè)問(wèn)題上,中國(guó)人也沒(méi)有西方人重視。領(lǐng)地觀念最突出的心理反應(yīng)恐怕要算對(duì)待隱私的態(tài)度了。中國(guó)人對(duì)個(gè)人隱私?jīng)]有西方人看得重,所以有時(shí)往往會(huì)無(wú)意中侵犯歐美人的隱私。中國(guó)人更強(qiáng)調(diào)群體的隱私。空間的一個(gè)重要組成部分是取向。中國(guó)人很講究住房的朝向,尤其是在中國(guó)北方,都以坐北朝南為好。</p><p><b>  美國(guó)空間觀</b></p><p>  美國(guó)人在

27、中國(guó)卻感到旅館和住宅擁擠不堪,人們相互干擾,毫無(wú)個(gè)人寧?kù)o和獨(dú)處可言。中美的懸殊差異也變現(xiàn)在受到?jīng)_撞、被人踩了腳或受到推擠時(shí)的反應(yīng)上。美國(guó)人總是要竭力避免與人碰撞,一旦受到了沖撞或者別人踩了自己的腳,或者受到推擠,反應(yīng)就會(huì)極為強(qiáng)烈。如果與人碰撞實(shí)屬難免,他們也要表示歉意,認(rèn)為別人也會(huì)道歉的;中國(guó)人遇到碰撞一樣感到不快,但常常容忍不理。美國(guó)人十分重視個(gè)人隱私的維護(hù),他們?cè)谂c中國(guó)人交往中常常感到最大的文化沖突之一就是他們的隱私受到侵犯。美國(guó)很

28、注意空間與地位間的關(guān)系,即人們注意利用空間設(shè)計(jì)區(qū)分人的地位差別,因此,空間模式與人的地位關(guān)系是西方非語(yǔ)言交際界學(xué)者研究的一個(gè)重要課題。如:辦公室所在樓層高度、在某一樓層的位置以及面積大小是辦公室人員權(quán)利和地位的明顯標(biāo)志,一般模式是領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人的辦公室在高層或樓道深處,低級(jí)辦事人員的辦公室在靠樓梯處;領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人辦公室大,一般人員辦公室?。活I(lǐng)導(dǎo)人辦公桌寬大,一般人員辦公桌矮??;領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人一人一間辦公室,外邊還有秘書把門,一般辦事人員多人共用一小間辦公室。

29、</p><p><b>  發(fā)展方向</b></p><p>  針對(duì)中西方空間觀存在的差異,一些學(xué)者提出了如何看待及解決的觀點(diǎn)。布羅斯納安認(rèn)為由文化所造成的環(huán)境特征最主要的內(nèi)容還在人的本身。據(jù)粗略統(tǒng)計(jì),英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的人口只占中國(guó)人口的三分之一,所占領(lǐng)土卻等于中國(guó)的3倍。第一次到中國(guó)的英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的人都為身處人山人海的包圍之中而不知所措。中國(guó)人第一次到英語(yǔ)國(guó)家時(shí)所看到的盡管

30、是人口眾多的大城市,也不能不為那里地域空曠,人口稀少而震驚。他們身居其中往往有一種被隔離的孤獨(dú)感。生活在中國(guó)的英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的人在體距方面感到最大的問(wèn)題是對(duì)人群擁擠的不適應(yīng)。布羅斯納安認(rèn)為,中國(guó)人與南歐人、阿拉伯人及日本人相似,將自身范圍僅限于本人身體。而英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的人則與多數(shù)北歐人一樣,將個(gè)人自身范圍擴(kuò)展到身體之外。隨著時(shí)間的流逝,交流的頻繁與深入,這些問(wèn)題越來(lái)越被人們關(guān)注,人們了解這些差異后,在交流中會(huì)盡量避免這些歐美人的禁忌,來(lái)達(dá)到成功交

31、流之目的。</p><p><b> ?。ㄈ┰u(píng)述</b></p><p>  綜觀學(xué)者對(duì)中國(guó)空間觀與西方空間觀的研究,西方內(nèi)涵研究得比較透徹,也從不同角度來(lái)分析中國(guó)空間觀以及西方空間觀的文化意義,并針對(duì)現(xiàn)在存在的一些有爭(zhēng)議的問(wèn)題提出了自己的見解,但是對(duì)于兩者的比較不是很完全。 </p><p>  三、總結(jié)部分(將全文主題進(jìn)行扼要總結(jié),提出自

32、己的見解并對(duì)進(jìn)一步的發(fā)展方向做出預(yù)測(cè))</p><p>  綜上所述,中國(guó)空間觀與西方空間觀之間有其相似點(diǎn),但是由于歷史背景、文化傳統(tǒng)的不同,中西方對(duì)兩者的理解是不同的,兩者還是存在巨大的差異。而今后的發(fā)展趨勢(shì)將進(jìn)一步明確兩者的區(qū)別及解決辦法。當(dāng)然,每個(gè)文化都有其存在的理由和傳統(tǒng),不能盲目地肯定其一或一味地否定其一。英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者應(yīng)該了解這些異同點(diǎn),從而明白正確對(duì)待雙方的態(tài)度,以便在跨文化交際中正確交流。</p

40、 隨著全球化進(jìn)程的進(jìn)一步加深,具有不同語(yǔ)言及文化背景的人們之間的接觸日益增多,跨文化交際已經(jīng)成為人們交際活動(dòng)必不可少的重要組成部分。人們?cè)诮浑H過(guò)程中,除使用語(yǔ)言符號(hào)外,還使用非語(yǔ)言的符號(hào)。研究表明,人類的大部分交際活動(dòng)是通過(guò)非言語(yǔ)交際完成的,非言語(yǔ)交際在很大程度上決定了交際的有效性??臻g作為人類活動(dòng)的主要組成部分,對(duì)人類的交際活動(dòng)產(chǎn)生著潛移默化的影響??臻g是會(huì)說(shuō)話的語(yǔ)言,不同文化的人擁有不同的空間觀,而不同的空間觀則是導(dǎo)致跨文化交際誤解
