3、e U.S.politics from1965 to 2008, including:participating in the Electoral Registration and Vote, runningfor U.S. Congressman and the Government Public Service Positions, striving forPolitical Appointments, donating for P

4、olitics and organizing Political Communities.However, restricted by some factors in the area of economy, society and politicalculture, the Chinese Americans’ participation in the U.S.Politics is uneven, the ChineseAmeric

5、ans’ political influence can’t correspond with their economic power. There aretwo economic factors, the money-oriented politics in the U.S.and the limited politicalinfluence of the Chinese Americans’ economic power, whic

6、h are restricting theChinese Americans’ participation in the U.S.Politics. In addition to the above factors,there are five social obstacles to the Chinese Americans’ participation in theU.S.Politics, that is, the severe

7、polarization, the serious “internal friction”, thetechnology deviation in the Chinese Americans’ education, the Chinese Americans’scant development in the Chinatown and the imposed name “model minority” fromother America

8、ns. Distinguished from the main American political culture, the ChineseAmericans’ own political culture tradition, their special religious culture and theingrained racial discrimination in America are the political cultu

9、re obstacles to theChinese Americans’ participation in the U.S.Politics. It has been confirmed by thehistory and reality that the Chinese Americans’ participation in the U.S. Politics is anatural process integrating into
