6、25InDelswereidentifiedinDwarf)geneamong87maizeeliteinbredlines,including52SNPsingenecodingsequenceLDanalysisshowedthatsomeSNPswereinstrongLDbutsomeSNPsshowweakLDwithothers,thedifferentLDpattemsuggestedthatthesegenes(Dwar

9、aitsSNP1569(A/C)wassignificantlyassociatedwithplantheight,whichexplained638%ofphenotypicvariationsSNP1569(A/C)wasanonsynonymoussite,whichcouldresultaminoacidvarationOnenonsynonymoussiteSNP一975isassociatedwiththeearlength
10、andthelengthofbaretip,itcanexplain785%and693%phenotypicvariationTheseresultssuggestedthatthepolymorphismsinmaize撕口夠andDwarf)locuscouldbeusedinmolecularmarker—assistedselectiontomodifytheplantheightinmaizebreedingprograms
