2、her strong female tragic consciousness which fills in almost all her novels, but the academic circles’ study about it is not enough. This thesis basing on analyzing and studying the existing research results, working in

3、a large number of women tragedies as the breakthrough point, studies the main spiritual resources of the writer’s , that is the female tragic consciousness. This thesis elaborates Geling Yan’s female tragic consciousness

4、 in order to filling in the deficiency on this academic research, and making my own contribution to studying Geling Yan better. The thesis mainly adopts the text read, feminist criticism and cultural studies, divides to

5、 two parts to discuss Geling Yan’s female tragic consciousness: Part One: Basing on the text read, analyze and summarize kinds of women tragedies in Geling Yan’s works. Women tragedies in the Grate Culture Revolution, in

6、 love and the female migrants overseas are the three main aspects. Part Two: Explore the main spiritual resources behind the description of the tragic fate of women, which is the female tragic consciousness. This part is

7、 divided into two aspects systematically discussed the connotations and formation of her female tragic consciousness: Aspect One, analyses the connotations of her female tragic consciousness, including conscientious wome

8、n consciousness, a strong sense of fate and surpassing Women tragedies in the spirit; Aspect Two, the formation of her female tragic consciousness, including the influence of the tragic times, her bitter emotional exper
