2、5 年 6 月 5 日 Abstract Li brocade is rooted in the soil of the Li nationality. It has written an encyclopedia in the unique national characteristics of culture with full history and development of Li nationality. It not o

3、nly records the textile process of Li nationality, but also involving every aspect of Li people’s daily and spiritual life. In the development of several thousand years, with the influence of national internal differenti

4、ation and cultural exchange with other nationalities, Li brocade showed different morphological characteristics in different periods. It has experienced three stages, from tapa to jute to cotton. In this paper, the secon

5、d chapter combs the three stages. And it discusses the era represented by tapas emphatically. It analysis how tapa contribute to the later generations of Li brocade in three respects: material, social, and spiritual. The

6、 third chapter studies the external form and symbolic significance of Li brocade color between varieties of combinations. It regards color as a symbol, on the basis of the theory of semiotics combines Li people’s ideolog

7、y and literature material two aspects to explore the thought origin of color symbol, and folk and religious Li brocade two aspects, the connotation of color expression, point to a large number of concrete instances to il

8、lustrate different color of the symbolism, summing up the identification of color symbols, aesthetic and emotional sustenance. The fourth chapter summarizes the Li brocade pattern three characteristics, namely the religi

9、ous diversity, regional diversity and composition technique. It can be divided into four categories, highlight its all-encompassing, rich connotation of folk custom and select material and the form of national spirit, s
