1、社交媒體在人類活動(dòng)的各個(gè)領(lǐng)域都取得了重要的突破,尤其是在商業(yè)、教育、娛樂、廣告和政治領(lǐng)域中。在第二十一世紀(jì)的政治傳播中社交媒體的重要性不能被忽視。奧巴馬巴拉克成功地利用了社交媒體平臺(tái)進(jìn)行了政治溝通、動(dòng)員和籌集資金,在2008屆美國總統(tǒng)選舉中,它已成為政治家和政黨對選民的方案和政策進(jìn)行溝通的有效平臺(tái)。尼日利亞有2011選舉時(shí),前總統(tǒng)喬納森利用臉譜網(wǎng)在競選過程中與他的支持者進(jìn)行了溝通。
