3、onofthisresultsisanenergyfrequencytimedistributiondesignatedastheHilbertspectrum.TheEMDmethodisadaptivehighlyefficientmeanwhilethismethodmayrunintodifficultieswhenthedatacontainintermittencewhichwillcausemodemixing.Thisp

4、aperinvokesthewaveletfiltertechnologyintotheEMDconstructsdecomposingfrequencyEMDmethod.WiththeapplicationofthewaveletfilterEMDmethodtotheshiftingprocesscanyielddifferentscalefrequencydecompositionofsignalwhichisdecomposi

5、ngfrequencyintrinsicmodefunctions.ThedecomposingfrequencyEMDmethodcanefficientlyovercomethemodemixing.ThecombinationofthedecomposingfrequencyEMDtheHilbertspectrummethodsetsupthedecomposingfrequencyHilbertHuangtransfmwhic

6、hcanprovidemephysicallymeaningfulinterpretationofnonlinearnonstationaryprocessesthanwaveletstransfm.ThispaperdemonstratestheuseofdecomposingfrequencyHilbertHuangtransfmmethodtoanalyzetheearthquakemotion.Byusingthemethodt
