2、SE1.1 To establish and carry out a procedure for controlling the return of goods that the customer has found to be nonconforming. 1.2 To ensure that the perpetual and physical inventory is maintained accurately and tim
3、ely.2.0 SCOPE2.1 This procedure applies to all returned goods from customers, distributors, and branches to the PPG Aerospace PRC-DeSoto ASC -Atlanta/Miami Facilities to be processed according to this procedure.3.0 DEF
4、INITIONS3.1 CAIR – Correcting Adjustments Incident Reporting. The system is intended to facilitate internal/external customer feedback. It is a to be used as a tool to report customer complaints and or Nonconformances.

6、nalUncontrolled CONFIDENTIAL6.2.1 The Receiving Department receives Returned Goods from the customer and verifies the number to the RGA log.6.2.2 Logs information onto the RGA log and the CAIR system.6.2.3 Verifies that
7、 documents, goods received, and Returned Goods Authorization records match and the condition of the goods.6.2.4 Attaches a Red Label to returned goods.6.2.5 Holds material for final disposition. (In secured area and/or
8、 designated area and monitor for timely removal.)6.2.6 Forwards documents to Operations Manager and/or Quality Control Department for disposition.6.3 Quality Control6.3.1 Quality Control reviews documentation receiv
9、ed by Receiving Department.6.3.2 Reviews RGA and CAIR number for the details of the nonconformity.6.3.3 Initial investigation of returned goods and test sample when necessary to ascertain the level of quality of the
10、product to ensure proper disposition of the goods.6.3.4 Enters details of the initial investigation in the CAIR system.6.3.5 If initial investigation of the returned goods reveals Product Nonconformity due to Manufactu
11、ring Upsets, then a CAIR is issued to the appropriate contact point in Manufacturing. 6.3.6 A sample is send to Manufacturing for further testing.6.3.7 Quality Control communicates the initial findings to Customer Servi
