2、ehicles in nowadays. TheFEM (finite element method) offers an advanced method for the analysis and design ofvehicles. During the initial stages of design the FEM analysis of vehicles could helpengineers find the problem
3、that exist in the design. Nevertheless, during the process ofthe FEM analysis of vehicles, the technologies of building the typical connectingmeans- welded spots on the car body is the key technology to ensure the correc
4、tnessand the higher accurate rate of the FEM model analysis results.In this dissertation, in allusion to the limit that the domestic analysis and studiesof the body structure only concentrate on the static bend, torsion
5、and some extremeconditions in nowadays and the studies on transient analysis of the whole vehicle thatcontains the suspension model, tire model and the road model are few, the applicationsof the FEM on the analysis of th
6、e car body structure are studied. And in thisdissertation the method of building connecting means models, the dynamic response ofthe body, the fatigue analysis of the body and the reforming measures of the body aredeeply
7、 discusses.Firstly, the FEM is applied to study the typical connecting means- welded spots onthe car body that has great influence on the correctness rate of the FEM model in thedissertation. Combing the experiment modal
8、 of the typical metal sheet, five modelsused to replace the welded spots are discussed. It is figured out that the models thatadopt the same nodes, the brick elements and the single beams elements shows thebetter consist
9、ency with the experiment modal and frequency. Considering the accuraterate of the analysis results and the time cost to build the whole model, it is suggestedthat the single beams elements are adopted on the car body FEM
10、 model. And it couldshorten the time to build the body model and ensure the enough accurate rate onengineering.Secondly, the methods to deal with the welded spots in this dissertation are usedto build the FEM model of BI
11、W (body in white). The analysis well anatomize with theexperimental results, which shows the methods to deal with the typical connectingmeans is felicitous and the model could be used to analyze the stiffness characteris
