1、The main aim of this study was to explore the study of determinants of FDI inflow toPakistan.For empirical analysis, this paper utilizes time series techniques.For thispurpose, this study utilizes the Vector Error Correc

2、tion Model (VECM) and Granger causality test.In addition, ADF test is used to check the stationary/non-stationary.Theperiod for this study is from 1970 to 2015.The secondary data is acquired from WorldDevelopment Indicat

3、ors, Federal Bureau of Statistics and World Governance Indicators.The results of ADF test shows that at a level all variables are stationary except GDP andthe remaining variables became stationary at first difference.The

4、 finding of thisempirical analysis reveals that the major determinants of FDI inflow in Pakistan areexport, exchange rate, infrastructure, external debt, and imports.Also, trade opennessand political stability exhibited

5、positive but insignificant influence on FDI.The findingshave revealed the presence of a long-run equilibrium relationship between FDI and GDP.However, FDI has a positive and significant effect on GDP while GDP has a posi

6、tiveand insignificant effect on FDI.Therefore, the outcome of this study recommends that;government should make sure stable macroeconomic policies, increases exports,reduction in external debt and reduction in imports to
