1、自20世紀(jì)90年代初,隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的全球化,軟件本地化產(chǎn)業(yè)在國(guó)外應(yīng)運(yùn)而生,此后不久即隨一些國(guó)際領(lǐng)先的軟件廠商進(jìn)入中國(guó)。由于當(dāng)前大約80%的軟件產(chǎn)品是在美國(guó)開發(fā)的英文產(chǎn)品,所以本地化絕大部分是基于英文產(chǎn)品,通過(guò)本地化的技術(shù)編譯生成其他語(yǔ)言版本產(chǎn)品。Liyod international translations面向20個(gè)來(lái)自各個(gè)行業(yè)的大中型客戶做了一項(xiàng)關(guān)于術(shù)語(yǔ)管理的調(diào)查,發(fā)現(xiàn)對(duì)于絕大部分客戶來(lái)講認(rèn)為其軟件產(chǎn)品最大的問(wèn)題還是在于術(shù)語(yǔ)不統(tǒng)一。針對(duì)
