2、tract】Objective To investigate the feasibility of plain and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence on 3.0T MR scanner in detection of spinal nerves and its clinic value. Methods 26 volunteers for brachial plexus and 20 volunteers for

3、 lumbosacral plexus received conventional scanning sequence, 3D-STIR sequence and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence on 3.0T MR scanner. The images acquired was evaluated and compared with the standard anatomica pictures. Results

4、: Plain and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence could clearly display brachial plexus and lumbosacral plexus, course, continuity, shape and signal of volunteer, and the enhanced 3D-STIR sequence improved the suppression effects of

5、 background. Conclusion: Plain and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence can clearly show the anatomy of the brachial plexus and lumbosacral plexus, and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence can receive a better suppression effects of the backg

7、bstract】 Objective To investigate the feasibility of enhanced 3D-STIR sequence in detection of lumbosacral plexus and its clinic value. Materials and Methods 83 patients with spinal nerves lesions received conventional

8、scanning sequence, 3D-STIR sequence and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence on 3.0T MR scanner. The patients were divided into 3 groups, i.e. neoplasm group, trauma group and intervertebral disk herniation group. The images acquir

9、ed was evaluated and compared with the standard anatomica pictures. Results Plain and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence could clearly depicted neoplasm, trauma, intervertebral disk herniation involving the spinal nerves. Conclus

10、ion Plain and enhanced 3D-STIR sequence is hlepful for the location diagnosis and determine the degree of spinal nerves diseases. 【Key words】: Magnetic resonance neurography spinal nerves diseases neoplasm trauma
