2、act Moralization means political and religious indoctrination and educational probation. The moralization has a long history in the changes of ancient Chinese literature. The Vernacular novels of the late Ming and early

3、Qing Dynasty inherited “contained Road“ tradition of Chinese literature, generally exhibited distinct characteristics of enlightenment dissuasiveness. Different from the creative gist, namely, entertainment, in the Song

4、and Yuan Dynasties, The Vernacular novels of this period believe in the creative concept of supreme enlightenment, and moralization is the main creative motivation. And what should be especially noticed is that there are

5、 phenomena of ice and fire of the moralization of Vernacular novels of this period presented seemingly, but in fact, the same civilized features: on one hand, traditional Confucian teachings have been the contents of the

6、 edification, and the writers consciously become the mouthpiece of the feudal ethics. By some characters with moral codes, the writers give a severe tongue-lashing to publicize the morality and ethics towards the world a

7、nd try to build a strong moral line of defense in people's hearts, so as to make people carry out all the social activities. Under the control of rationality, try to make people consciously restrict their actions so

8、as to achieve enlightenment by virtue of the public purpose; On the other hand, adopt a loving way of enlightenment, hold high the banner of “feeling“, affirm human nature and feelings, through the utmost publicity of de

9、sire and the moral influence based on ethics, to establish a rational world of “feeling“, so as to achieve the purpose of enlightenment. Although they are different in the approaches adopted, but the starting point and u

10、ltimate goal of them are generally the same. Based on two different contents and enlightenment of the Vernacular novels, this paper will divide the moralization of Vernacular novels into two ideological factions, namely,

11、 the education of ethics and the education of emotion. Through the study of enlightenment of the two factions of the Vernacular novels, we draw the conclusion: although its cultivation methods and content are different,

12、but they all reflect the distinctive and moral perspective of the novelist and moral concerns. The fundamental points of its narrative value are also due to moral education, restoration of Confucian ethics, saving social

13、 atmosphere, maintaining their feudal order, which are the common goals. All of these are the fundamental gist of moral education of the Vernacular novels. By developing and explaining the moral education of Vernacular n

14、ovels, it's helpful to understand the change of thought. Meanwhile, and it can also provide a kind of native resources for social morality by creative conversion. Key words: The late Ming and early Qing Dynasty; The
