4、evelop according to way of from “appearance to Essence”, and line of reasoning of “positive –negative ---combination”. In this paper chapter one will give a brief introduction to Plato’s Life experiences, times, his work

5、s and seek subjective and objective conditions that Leads to form of Plato’s ideas in poetry. In addition, it presents his Works have dramatic feature, which paves the way of developing further Discussion. Chapter two fo

6、cuses on reasons why Plato expel poet from Republic and Understand poet’s activities and his works from narrow rationality(knowledge’s understanding and evaluation)Of Plato’s family, and so scold that they tast e people’

7、s vulgar interest, advocate their desire, which make audience and readers cannot keep their mind; they are puzzled persons always absorbed in craze of soul, lack clear reason; they wants to imitate “eidos”, however, just

8、 make up hypothesis, in fact, blaspheme against Gods, so that they make people far from noumenon. Based on this understanding and evaluation, in his Republic he doesn’t leave room for poet. Chapter three will talk about

9、another contradiction, that is, Plato Defend for poet and poetry on many occasions consciously and Unconsciously. For one thing, it shows his positive view when he scolds, For another thing, it shows direct and positive

10、praise for poet and poetry On certain occasions. Plato’s attitude towards poet and poetry from Positive to negative is based on principle of wonderful life in hisUnderstanding, that is, “Limitation, Harmony, Integraty”.

13、om unity between poetry and philosophy. Muthos and logos originally are of same origin. Possibly it may combine by dramatic dialogues. Fortunately Plato is both poet and philosopher. So he can combine poet and philosophy
