11、sbeenembeddedinJapanesesocietythroughtheprinciplesofShintoismBuddhismConfucianismfseveralhundredyears(DeMente1994).Japanhastraditionallyemphasisedcooperationadvocatingthevaluesoftrustselfrestraintharmonyganisationalloyal

12、ty.ShintoismBuddhismConfucianismhaveallcontributedtothefmationofthesevaluesinJapan(Watsuji1952).Shintoismemphasisestheimptanceofcleanlinessofmindusingotherpeoplefone’sselfinterestisconsidered‘unclean’(Watsuji1952).Confuc
