2、rcinoma Abstract Objective: This study was designed to investigate the diagnostic value of serum tumor markers CEA、CA19-9 in patients with colorectal cancer and evaluate the clinical significance of detecting pathologica

3、l stage、lymph node metastasis and invasion degree of the tumor. Method: The serum levels of CEA、CA19-9 were determined by ELISA two days before operation and two weeks after operation in 158 patients with colorectal canc

4、er and in 160 healthy peoples a control. Finally the data was analyzed by statistic software SPSS 13.0. Result: The serum levels of CEA、CA19-9 in patients were significantly higher than those in controls (P<0.01，respe

5、ctively). There was significant difference between the two levels preoperative and postoperative (P<0.01, respectively). The sensitivity and specificity of CEA、 CA19-9 in combination was （45.6％、 92.5％） which was sign

6、ificantly higher than that of single marker(36.7％、27.8％，respectively)and (83.8％、76.3％，respectively). In Dukes stages A，B，C and D，serum levels and sensitivity of the two tumor markers were significantly increased, In the

7、cases with lymph node metastasis, The 1evel of the CA19-9 were significantly increased. The marker levels were also significantly and successively increased along with the extent of cancer infiltration but showed no sign
