簡(jiǎn)介:本次翻譯報(bào)告是筆者根據(jù)牛津口述史手冊(cè)(THEOXFDHBOOKOFALHISTY)第三章、第四章原文和譯文內(nèi)容而寫。牛津口述史手冊(cè)于2010年由牛津大學(xué)出版社出版,作者包括來(lái)自五大洲的40位學(xué)者,大部分都參加過(guò)國(guó)際口述史協(xié)會(huì)的會(huì)議,文章也反映了口述史主題和內(nèi)容的多樣性以及方法論的共同性。受宋博士的邀請(qǐng)我很榮幸參與了牛津口述史手冊(cè)的翻譯。雖然其中經(jīng)歷了不少困難,但最后也都得以解決,也學(xué)到了很多東西。此次翻譯項(xiàng)目的時(shí)限為四個(gè)月(2012年12月2012年3月),翻譯準(zhǔn)備階段耗時(shí)一個(gè)月,后期校審修改階段為一個(gè)月,因此真正著手翻譯時(shí)間為兩個(gè)月。在這兩個(gè)月期間,筆者按照要求仔細(xì)閱讀理解原作,讀懂作者想表達(dá)的思想,并選擇適合此次翻譯的翻譯策略和翻譯方法,最終使得譯文能夠貼切流暢傳達(dá)作者原意,又能讓目的語(yǔ)讀者認(rèn)可接受;另外,筆者列出了本次翻譯過(guò)程中遇到的障礙和解決方法。通過(guò)本次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者深刻體會(huì)到,從事翻譯不僅要有扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)功底,堅(jiān)實(shí)的漢語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ),還要有廣博的知識(shí)面。
