2、ma and red blood cell amino acids transport in growing goatsAbstract This experiment was conducted to study the effect of different starch source ( corn, rice, sorghum, and wheat ) diets on net PDV flux of glucose, VFA,
3、ammonia, urea-N, and amino acid, and on plasma and red blood cell amino acid transport. Selected four liuyang black goats, implanted indwelling catheters into portal vein, mesenteric vein, carotid artery after fit to the
4、 diets. The experiment design wsa 4×4 latin square design, PAH was infused continuously into the mesenteric vein for 11h to measure plasma flow. The results of the experiment show: (1) There is no significant differ
5、ence in artery and portal glucose concentration and net portal glucose absorption among four diets (P>0.05), and net fluxs of glucose shows negative blance. Diets containing sorghum and rice show higher value of net P
6、DV flux, and corn and wheat show lower value. Net portal flux of acetate and butyrate show no sigcificant difference among four diets (P>0.05), the higher value of is for corn and wheat, and rice and sorghum show lowe
7、r value. (2) Four different starch source did not significantly affected net PDV flux of ammonia and urea-N (P>0.05), corn and wheat show higher value of ammonia and lower value of urea-N, and rice and sorghum show hi
8、gher value of net flux of urea-N and lower value of ammonia. (3) There was no significant different for whole blood, plasma, and red blood cell AA concentration for all diets, except for Gly and His in carotid artery and
9、 Asp, Thr, Gly, His in portal vein. Compared the concentration of amino acid in whole blood, plasma, and red blood cell, we can see that Thr, Ser, Met, and Pro have higher concentration in plasma than in red blood cell
10、and whole blood, and other AA have higher concentration in red blood cell than in plasma. Viewing the value of net PDV flux of AA, there was significant different for Cys, Tyr in whole blood, Thr in plasma, and Cys in re
11、d blood cell, and show no significant different for others. In brief, four difference starch source diets do not affects PDV net flux of branched-chain AA, essential AA, non-essential AA and total AA, rice and wheat have
