10、e combined with adrenal hyperplasia on androgen and metabolism in reproductive age women ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the effect of polycystic ovary syndrome combined with adrenal hyperplasia on androgen and metabol

11、ism in reproductive age women. Methods Retrospective analysis in 168 patients conforms to the 2003 Rotterdam PCOS diagnostic criteria. According to the results of adrenal CT examination, they were divided into PCOS group

12、 (n=125) and PCOS combined with adrenal hyperplasia group (n=43). The general clinical data, sex hormones and metabolic indexes were compared between two groups. Analyzed the relationship between androgen and insulin res

13、istance, LH/FSH, BMI, SHBG. Results The overall incidence of polycystic ovary syndrome combined with adrenal hyperplasia was 25.6% (43/168). Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome combined with adrenal hyperplasia shows

14、 significant higher T and LH/FSH level compared with PCOS patients[(2.46 ±0.87) nmol/L vs (3.01 ± 1.43) nmol/L； （1.80 ±0.89） vs （2.54 ±1.06）], and the incidence of metabolic syndrome is higher (4.8% v

15、s 16.28%),with significant difference(P<0.05). HOMA-IR and BMI, LH/FSH and T were positively correlated both in the two groups. DHEAS were significantly negatively correlated with SHBG in patients with PCOS(r=-0.317,

16、P=0.000)；LH/FSH was significantly positively correlated with DHEAS in PCOS patients with adrenal hyperplasia(r=0.450, P=0.002). Conclusions The incidence of hyperandrogenism and metabolic disorders in patients with PCOS

17、combined with adrenal hyperplasia were higher and more serious than that of PCOS. The relationship between HOMA-IR and BMI、LH/FSH and T showed a significant positive correlation , therefore patients with PCOS have appare
