4、tisaccade)x3(incentivevalue:rewardpunishmentneutral)withinsubjectsdesign22graduatesundergraduatesparticipatedinthisexperiment.Theresultsshowedthat:participantsantisaccadeaccuracyincreasedunderpunishmentconditionscompared

5、totheneutralcondition(withoutincentives)rewardincreasedprosaccadesaccuracyreducedlatencytherewardprolongedthedirectionerrsaccadelatencyinantisaccades.ThepatternwasconsistentwiththeresultsofJazbecetal.(2006).Itsuggestedth

6、atrewardcouldimprovetheperfmanceinprosaccadeswhilepunishmentmightoptimizeadultsinhibitycontrolinantisaccadetask.Howeveritrequiresatleasttwoprocessestosucceedonanantisaccadetrial:theinhibitionofaspontaneoussaccadetowardst

7、hetargetuseoftheobtainedrulestoproduceasaccadetotheoppositedirectioninwhichinhibitionisthemostimptantprocess.Ineverydaylifetherearealsosomeconditionswheretheinfmationofincentivetasktypeareneededtobeseparatedsotaketheseab
