4、sthesupplyofhousesavailabletobuyersprovidesbuyerswithinfmationonthequalityofdifferenthousestheneighbhoodsinwhichtheyarelocated.Brokersfrequentlyhelpbuyersidentifysourcesofmtgagefinancingpropertyinsuranceaswellasassistbuy

13、tempiricalstudiesofbrokerchoiceJanssenJobson(1980)findthatrealestateagentsdohaveanimpactonprice.UsingdatafromtheCanadianhousingmarketJanssenJobsonsresultsindicatethatwithrealestatefirmsofcomparablesizebrokerswholistcompa

14、rablepropertiesfhigherpricesthancompetingbrokerstendtorealizesignificantlyhighersellingprices.Thehighersellingpricestendtobeassociatedwithtransactionsinvolvingexecutivetransfersbrokerarrangedsecondaryfinancing.Theseresul
