3、shing of Zhou Empire, Song was the conquered and the bemocked. The shameful history of the last rulers of Shang Dynasty directly caused the collapse of their own regime. Despite the fact that they had

4、 their own proud culture and sophisticate system, the Song people could only be humble and respectful under the ruling of Zhou. Zhou people treated Song people courteously, yet taking strong precaut

5、ions against them, which set the Song State in a rather embarrassing situation. This special historic background shaped the unique cultural spirit of Song. This paper takes the three important rulers in the history of th

6、e Song States (Song Weizi, the Duke of Song Xiang and the King Kang of Song) as examples, combined with the analysis of the general history of the Song State, investigates and discusses the shaping, evolution and the inf
