1、隨著外語片的大量涌入，字幕電影逐漸興起，作為一個(gè)新興研究領(lǐng)域，字幕研究越來越引起人們的關(guān)注。優(yōu)秀的影視字幕可以幫助目的語觀眾跨越語言障礙，欣賞國(guó)外的影視藝術(shù)，同時(shí)，還可以架起文化交流的橋梁，讓國(guó)內(nèi)觀眾了解外國(guó)文化。
受時(shí)間、空間、銀屏信息等因素的影響，較傳統(tǒng)的紙質(zhì)文本翻譯而言，字幕翻譯受限更多，難度更人。因此，選擇適宜的翻譯策略，對(duì)這一問題的解決至關(guān)重要。盡管早有一些學(xué)者對(duì)字幕翻譯展開研究，但對(duì)字幕翻譯過程中幽默翻譯策略的研究
