3、ystem. In order to clear off the barrier of the development of the modern industrial education, he abolished the Imperial Examination System gradually; he played an active role in the establishment and practice of the mo

4、dern industrial education and also made extraordinary achievement on thoughts on industrial education; he presided and formulated “Gui Mao Education System” for oneself which is the first formulation and implementation o

5、f the national education system and establishes the statutory status of the industrial education in the national education system and becomes the basic system of the development of the industrial education. Maybe the his

6、tory chose Chang Chih-tung by chance, however, there is a close inevitable connection with the following factors, that is, his growth background, the practice of the industrial education and his attainment on industrial

7、education thoughts, the experience of establishing a provincial area education system and having outstanding quality originating from his social practice in many areas. Through systematically combing the mass historic ev

8、ents, the paper presents them. Under the inspiration of Chang Chih-tung’s experiences in the process of founding modern industrial education system in china, the thesis makes an attempt to construct the modern vocational

9、 education system macroscopically in china. The thesis consists of exordium and four main chapters. The exordium explains why I choose “Chang Chih-tung —The Founder of Modern Industrial Education System in China” as my s
