2、k Supervisor:Li ming xia AbstractObjectives:To investigate the relation between IGF-I,GH and growth of premature infants.Methods:nighty- cases of premature infants appropriate for gestation were divided into the grou
3、p of the parenteral nutrition and control group ,the IGF-I in the umbilical cord blood and serum on the 7th. 14th day after birth were measured by radiommunoassay(RIA) respectively,and the brith day and the 7th. 14th day
4、 after brith the weigh, body lengh, Head circumference and Rohrer indexes were examined.The correlation among IGF-I concentrations in cord blood and serum on 7th 14th day after birth and weigh ,body lengh , Head circum
5、ference and and RI were studied.Results:(1)The level of serum IGF-I on 14th day after brith were significantly different between the on 7th day after birth and that of umbilical cord blood in two groups(p<0.05).The leve
6、l of IGF-I on 7th 14th day after brith were significantly different between that of umbilical cord blood in control group . (2)The level of serum GH on 14th day after brith were significantly different between the two g
7、roups(p<0.05). (3) The level of IGF-I on umbilical cord blood and 7th 14th day after brith correlated positively with RI and weigh and the level of GH.The body lengh , Head circumference on brith day is not related to
8、 the 7th 14th day after brith in two group (p>0.05).The level of GH on 14th day after brith correlated positively with RI(p<0.05) .Conclusions:IGF-I and GH play the important role in the regulation on nutrition and grow
9、th during early neonatal life , which regulate premature infants growth in their individual way. IGF-I are closely related to the nutritional results. Key words:Insulin-like;grouth factor-I;Gorwth hormone;Nutition;Growth
