4、, politics and economy and so on.This essay mainly focuses on the textbook censorship of Middle Schools andPrimary Schools in Taiwan province, and emphasis on the basic elements of thecensorship, the features and the jud

5、gment of the advantages and disadvantages. Firstof all, it introduces about the history and the development of the textbook censorshipfrom the year 1949 till now. Then, it tells about the basic elements of Taiwan’ stextb

6、ook censorship, which includes the censorship subject, the censorship object, theaccordance, the censor method, the censor standards, the censor steps, the censorpossibility results and the interaction between the editor

7、s and the censors, and it alsoanalyzes its special features as well. What come next are the forming reasons of thetextbook censorship and the judgment of the advantages and disadvantages. Aftersome research, we can find

8、out that Taiwan’s textbook censorship has thoseadvantages: the interaction between the editors and the censors, the opened upinformation of the censorship. What’s more, the ordinary people are also allowed tojoin in, and

9、 the teachers can also take part in the censorship as well as the selection ofthe textbooks, which is quite beneficial for the teacher’s professional growth. On theother side, its disadvantages are like these things belo
