4、anslation ethics but also help communicate with foreigners smoothly and successfully. Based on translation ethics and the English version of Fortress Besieged, the present author of the thesis indicates that there are f

5、ew studies applying the theory of translation ethics to research the ethics of difference in C-E translation of Fortress Besieged recently, so it is very important to do research in this area. On the basis of the Engl

6、ish version of Fortress Besieged translated by Jeanne Kelly and Nathan K.Mao and from the aspects of manners, literary styles, cultural images of nations and ethics, the thesis tries to explore the ethics of difference i

7、n C-E literary translation. It demonstrates that the application of translation ethics in C-E literary translation is necessary; moreover, it illustrates how to analyze the ethics of difference in C-E translation of Fort
