4、nd West culture, the importance of the source-oriented translation is always ignored and queried, so does the translation of our religious culture. Since the lack of research on our traditional culture, this paper will t

5、ake cultural default as entry point and analyses the methods of compensation. Cultural default has two-sidedness. People shared the same living background always omit the explanation of three religions words to increase

6、the efficiency of communication, whereas for the people without Chinese cultural knowledge, cultural default will cause the vacuum of sense. Thus, the translators have to compensate the vacuum, but also consider the aest

7、hetic value of source work. What’s more, the extending domestic culture purpose of source-oriented translation requires translators take the responsibility of spreading Chinese culture. Hsi-yu chi with the storyline of X
